The Blizzard of '78

For three days, Mother Nature seized control over Connecticut, as automobile, air and rail traffic were shut down and bustling businesses went dark.

When the documentary The Blizzard of ’78 aired this past February, it was the number one rated local public television show in the country in its timeslot.  More than 200,000 Connecticut residents watched the program and more than 1,000 ordered copies after the show aired.

The Newshour

Jennifer Boyd produced a segment for PBS's Newshour on the Newman's Own Foundation.  The piece aired in December of 2010.

Jennifer will soon begin development of a documentary on the life of Paul Newman for national distribution.

Teens Behind the Wheel

Teens: Behind the Wheel is a groundbreaking look at what really happens when teens climb behind the wheel. The documentary was featured on Good Morning America, Dateline NBC and in the New York Times. Producer/writer/director Jennifer Boyd placed palm-sized video cameras in newly licensed teens’ cars for six months. The results shocked the nation.

Parents and Teens: Behind the Wheel

As a follow up to the Emmy Award Winning, Teens: Behind the Wheel, Jennifer Boyd, along with co-producers Catherine Sager and Cathy Jackman, created a new, eye-opening documentary, Parents & Teens: Behind the Wheel, to examine the influence parents have on their teens’ driving habits. The result is an unbiased and truthful picture of how we all hit the road.  Currently in distribution.
